This film project with Tom Delonge took me back to the beginning. Running wild to Blink 182 at Warped Tour as a 13-year-old blew my mind and set me off. For me, telling stories alongside incredible minds and hearts is where I'm most alive. Tom is one such heart, and to feel his music and be a part of his journey from afar over these years has meant so much. So when the universe presented this moment for us to hang, celebrate a life of grand design, new beginnings, and no bullshit punk spirit, it all just felt right.
Thank you Tom for all the good vibes and love you put out into the world. Your perspective, wisdom, and energy have shaped this new chapter of my journey, and I hope the short film we made inspires millions.
This project is a testament to the power of a belief in unseen realms, where what you think becomes reality. Tom's conscious orbit of his North Star and unwavering determination have materialised this epic journey, and being a part of it has propelled me deeper.
The team led by Tom’s Right Hand Man Jeff are as smooth as silk, the nicest of people, and the best in the game. Our production team felt at home, and life was made super easy for us to create. To the Fender team, forever grateful for this opportunity, the time we had to hang, and have fun. I hope this film and launch of the Tom DeLonge Starcaster is everything you wanted it to be. Looking forward to the good times to come.
And to all of our production and post-production team, the gratitude I have for you all is glorious. The passion and love everyone put into this project was beautiful to see. And most of all, the good times and care for each other on the road and in the studios made what we were able to create together. Happy days.
